For panels on Rock and Roll Culture, Mid-Atlantic Popular and American
Culture Association, New Brunswick, NJ, 11/4/05-11/6/05
 
We invite submissions for several panels on Rock and Roll Culture. Topics
can include but are not limited to artists, albums, CDs, genres, performances,
album art, radio, rock on television, in the movies, on- or off-Broadway,
critics, journals, magazines, teaching with rock music, MTV, VH-1, fashion,
staging, venue, rock as cultural indicator or signifier, rock decadence, the
record label, the box set, and more. Culture is defined in the broadest
possible sense. Complete panels of three or four presenters are welcomed.
 
Send a 150-word abstract (including AV needs -- but only vcr/monitor and
carousel projectors/screens), mail or email, before June 15, 2005:
