The Midwest Popular Culture Association invites faculty to nominate and mentor
undergraduate researchers to present papers on any aspect of popular culture at
this year's meeting at the Westin Hotel in St. Louis (October 14-16).

Possibilities include, but are not limited to:

Advertising
Animation and Comics
Film
Horror and Science Fiction
Literature and History
Music
Sports
Television
and others

Faculty should submit complete papers, either by mail or as email attachment.
Papers should be no fewer than six pages and no more than ten pages in length
with a reading time of around fifteen minutes. Student researchers may be asked
to revise these papers under their mentors' instruction.

Complete thematic panels (3-4 presenters) may also be proposed with faculty
mentors chairing these sessions.
