Due to a change in the schedule, we are looking for one paper to complete
an already approved panel on Early Modern Transatlanticism for the upcoming
RMMLA convention in Coeur d'Alene, Idaho. The current focus of the panel,
broadly conceived, is the matter of race and material culture during the
long early modern period. Any range of particular emphases will be
considered, though the papers should all have some sort of transatlantic
focus. This focus need not be solely England and its continental American
colonies, however.
Please provide an abstract (150 words maximum) or paper written for a 20
minute time slot.
Additional information on the conference, which already has scheduled
several (at least five by my count) early modern panels, can be found at
http://rmmla.wsu.edu/conferences/NewDefault.asp
Submissions or any questions on the panel can be directed to the address below.
