The Student Union at the University of Wisconsin at Milwaukee will be
hosting a panel discussion of the film, End of Evangelion, the
controversial conclusion of Hideaki Anno's series, Neon Genesis
Evangelion, as part of its semester-long celebration of comics,
graphic novels, and animated films. The event is planned for Saturday,
November 5, with a screening of the film at 1 PM to be followed by the
panel. Please send proposals of 300-500 words to Peter Y. Paik at
pypaik_at_uwm.edu by August 6, 2005. Panelists are encouraged to cover
the following topics:

The reception of Evangelion in Japan
The symbolism of the Kabbalah
