CFP list admin announcement: List resumes on Wednesday 10/4

Dear subscribers,

As you will have noticed, postings for the CFP list and Web archive have
not been going out for the past few weeks. My sincerest apologies for the
inconvenience, especially to those confererences whose due dates have
passed. Although the CFP list has over 15,000 subscribers world wide and
carries listings for over 100 conferences a month, the behind-the-scenes
work is as of right now a one-woman job. And I have recently been ill.

I am in the process of acquiring an assistant so that in the future the
CFP list's activities will not be interrupted by anything other than
technical difficulties. In the meantime, the list's activities will resume
on Wednesday. Postings with due dates that have not yet passed will be
sent out in the order in which they were received. If you would like to
re-post other calls for papers with later due dates, please do so.

Again, my apologies for the interruptions and the inconvenience.
