Updated Call for Proposals

CHUCK PALAHNIUK: FIGHT CLUB AND BEYOND

**Please note: since the publication date of _Rant: An Oral Biography
of Buster Casey_ was so close to our original deadline, we have
extended the submission period for proposals.**

While _Fight Club_ has received a great deal of well-deserved
attention, Chuck Palahniuk has written a number of other fascinating
texts, both fiction and nonfiction. We seek proposals for a
collection of critical essays which will explore these texts (or
discuss _Fight Club_ in the context of his other works). Please send
a 250-300 word proposal by June 1, 2007 in the body of an email (or as
Microsoft Word attachment). Completed essays of approximately 20
double-spaced pages in MLA format will be due in late summer.
Submissions should be accompanied by contact information and a brief
paragraph bio. Please send submissions to both editors, Cynthia Kuhn
<kuhnc_at_mscd.edu> and Lance Rubin <lance.rubin_at_arapahoe.edu>. We look
forward to reading your work.
