Native American Literature
39th Convention, Northeast Modern Language Association (NeMLA)
April 10-13, 2008
Buffalo, New York
This session welcomes submissions on any aspect of Native American Studies,
including literature, literary separatism, film, culture, spirituality,
language, gender, tribal politics, race, and ethnicity. Papers addressing
the recent critical works by writers such as David Treuer, Robert Warrior,
Thomas King, Craig Womack, Daniel Heath Justice, and Robert A. Williams, Jr.
are especially welcome.

Interested participants may submit abstracts to more than one NeMLA panel;
however panelists can only present one paper. Convention participants may
present at a paper session panel and also present at a creative session or
participate in a roundtable.
