CFP: Religion in Children's and YA Fiction,
for a panel that will be proposed for the
2008 Children's Literature Association Conference,
Normal,IL, June 12-15

The deadline for abstracts is December 15, 2007

We are seeking scholarship on religion in Children's and Young Adult
fiction, where religion is used as a major plot element and/or where
characters are shown examining their own religion or experiencing
religion in a particular way. We will consider papers that enter into
critical/theoretical discussions of texts.
