CFP: [Collections] Body Worlds Collection: Jewish & Islamic Perspectives

We are seeking 4,000-6,000 word essays for an interdisciplinary
collection about Gunther von Hagens' Body Worlds to be published in the
fall of 2008 by McFarland & Co., Inc. We are looking for essays that
look at Body Worlds (any of the 3 traveling exhibitions) from Jewish and
Islamic perspectives. Please send drafts to Dr. Alicita Rodriguez via e-
mail at arodriguez_at_western.edu. Deadline is December 20, 2007. Final,
revised drafts will be due January 15, 2008.
