Topic: Literature that addresses the results of violent upheaval (war,
family trauma, civil unrest, personal tragedy, etc.) How do we put our
lives back together? Creative writing is also welcome.
DEADLINE for proposals is March 10, 2008
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES:
Proposals to read critical or creative work must be postmarked no later
than March 10, 2008. Creative proposals must include a brief bio and
sample of creative work to be read. Be sure to indicate all audio-visual
needs at time of proposal submission. Presentations should not exceed 20
minutes. We welcome submissions from middle- and high-school students.
college undergraduates and graduates, and from professionals in every
field.
