New publisher Forty-Sixth Star Press invites essays on the theme of
Oklahoma films for an upcoming book. Essays should examine the film image
promoted by a film set in or about people from Oklahoma, one essay on any
one movie from Cimarron to Okie Noodling. The tone of the final essay
should be edgy and entertaining, and around 3000 words in length. E-mail
200-word abstract and contact information by September 15, 2008 to the
bookās editor vanmeter_at_fortysixthstarpress.com.
