One Session for the 1st International Congress: 1408-2008 – The Age of
Gower(Two sessions also possible, depending on the volume of the papers
received)
 

GOWER and LAW
 

Possible topics might include, but are not limited to:
 
Gower and Natural Law
Legal Rhetoric or Oratory
Gower and Justice
Gower and the Lawyers
Legal Fictions and / or Fictional Trials
Problems / Limitations of Justice in Literature (e.g. Vengeance)
Gower, Law, and Vernacular Literature (Texts and their Reception)
 

Papers will be limited to 20 minutes. Accepted participants must commit
themselves to attending. Please submit 500-word abstracts, brief vitae, and
any requests for AV equipment to Andreea Boboc, University of the Pacific
(aboboc_at_pacific.edu) no later than September 10, 2007.
