The Glorious Empire of the Turks: the Present Terror of the World:
Islamophilia and Islamophobia in Early Modern English Texts

This is proposed special session for the 2008 MLA Convention in San
Francisco. We seek papers from all disciplines that deal with the
representation of the Islamic world in the early modern period in England.
Please send a 200 word abstract and cv to Ambereen Dadabhoy,
